Shouldn't I be able to organize myself?
  • Organizing can be a daunting task. Where do you start? How do you get the time and energy to do it right? Because of this, organizing gets put off for weeks, months, or even years, hanging over you as a perpetual "to do" that only happens in bits "and" never gets done at all.



Why should I hire a professional organizer?
  • A professional organizer can develop systems that will allow you to increase both your personal and professional level of productivity; decrease the amount of stress and anxiety associated with disorganization and lost items; and help you gain control over your time, schedule and belongings.
  • A Professional Organizer provides guidance, motivation, decision making assistance, and knowledge of systems and products that have been proven to work for a majority of people.
  • All of these benefits will ultimately allow you to have more time available to do things you enjoy most in life!



What can I expect from An Eye For Order?
  • A quick phone conversation gets us acquainted with your organizational challenges.
  • We will then schedule an initial consultation whereby we will meet to discuss problem areas, assess the spaces and define goals and priorities.
  • A personalized plan will be developed to meet your needs and goals. You can then decide whether you would like to implement the plan yourself, work together to implement the plan or have
    An Eye For Order handle the implementation from beginning to end. The choice is yours!
  • We will schedule the time to complete the project(s), taking into account your preferred level of involvement. Our professional organizers work individually or as a team, depending on the size and depth of the project.
  • When supplies are necessary to complete the project, we will provide you with a shopping list or we can do the ordering and purchasing for you.
  • A follow up visit is scheduled to determine how the system(s) are working for you. If needed, additional time can be scheduled to perform fine tuning.



I am afraid that I will have to get rid of things I still want to keep. How do you deal with this issue?
  • We will consult with you, ask you questions, and make suggestions to help you decide which items are important and which items are not. The final decision will be yours.
  • We don't see it as our job to "convince" anyone to get rid of anything, but at the same time, many clients have remarked that it is much easier to let things go when we are there working with you.
  • We offer unique storage decisions for those " hard to let go of items ".
  • The magic of what we do is that for some reason, having an impartial witness affords people a new sense of freedom to lighten their load.



What else do I need to know?
  • The cost of getting you organized is determined by the time spent on the project. We usually have a minimum of 4 hours on site work.
  • Payment is due on the day service is rendered, based on the time spent and supplies used.
  • For client locations that require extended travel time, an additional fee may be charged. We will inform you in the proposal if a travel fee will be included.
  • We require a 24 hour notice for appointment cancellations. You will charged the 2 hour minimum for missed appointments, without cancellation.
  • When your assistance is necessary in the process, we ask you to schedule a time when you will not be interrupted or distracted.
  • As members of the National Organization of Professional Organizers (NAPO), we pledge to keep confidential all client information, both business and personal, and will use proprietary client information only with the client's written permission.



I am a very private person.
Will my sessions with a Professional Organizer be confidential?
  • We are aware of the high level of trust you will place in us.
  • We will never say or do anything to breach that trust.
